Dear Colin,

After much consideration, I have decided to write this letter to you.

As you are well aware, I recently lost my dear wife Adele to pancreatic cancer. Her death, in the prime of her life at the age of 56, has been a devastating blow to my family, my four adult children and three grandchildren as well as to me personally.

Despite the challenge of dealing with the bereavement, I feel that it is only right that I express my deepest thanks and sincere appreciation for the extraordinary support and service that you have provided. Your care and sympathy to my entire family is most appreciated and will always remain with me.

Moreover, you have been an extraordinary professional, going beyond the call of duty in attending to all the personal matters which have arisen as a result of Adele’s death. Whether it be the structuring of our affairs in the most optimum way, or attending to all the insurance claims and the immense paperwork associated with this task.

On a personal note, in my years as a businessman, I have previously had the misfortune of working with so called “professionals” that never met with the promised deliverables as committed to at the time of providing the relevant service.
